Welcome to
The Art School of Chocolography activities are designed to be taught independently or together as a course to impart students with a more comprehensive understanding of computer digital design and principals of enterprise. The educational aim of the Chocolography School course is to prepare young people for a future as self-reliant individuals, and help them realize their productive and creative potential.
Why hands-on entrepreneurship education is relevant and valuable:
From: Greene, C. Paper presented at the Consortium for Entrepreneurship Education Forum; 2007 Nov 4; Charleston, SC.
- Approximately 23 million small businesses in the US employ half of all private sector employees, pay 44% of total US private payroll and generate 60-80% of new jobs annually.
- Seventy percent of high school students surveyed expressed a strong interest in starting and running their own business.
- Eighty five percent of HS students say they learned little to nothing about how business works while in high school, and that nation’s schools should do more to teach about entrepreneurship.
Chocolography School Statement:
I sincerely believe in the adults’ mission to expand young
people’s perspective on the world around them and to help them
develop into well-rounded and creative people who, through
their experience, will touch many other lives in the future.
